about me

Howdy, Greetings, Fàilte!

“I believe that performance art creates opportunities for stories to be shared with the world. These stories remind us of our past endeavors, shape our future and connect us all.”

An avid lover of theatre, I co-founded Vague Theatre Company in 2006. Vague’s remit was to tour contemporary theatre to rural communities, providing a theatre service for patrons for whom a trip to the city would be onerous or impossible.

Having established Vague Theatre Company, I became an active member of Lancaster Footlights Society, custodians of the third oldest theatre in the U.K. – Lancaster Grand Theatre. During my time as a member I was elected to the Production Committee where I spearheaded a “Studio” theatre wing, opening the inaugural season with Martin McDonagh’s, The Pillowman. I was later elected to the Board of Directors and remained in post until relocating to the U.S.

In Dallas, I have worked in House Management at WaterTower Theatre and The Eisemann Center for the Performing Arts. I also worked as General Administrator for Uptown Players, an LGBT-focused theatre organization.

In 2017, I joined AT&T Performing Arts Center as its Capital Campaign Coordinator before moving into the role of Sponsorship Manager. I am currently the Center’s Group Sales Manager, providing a strategic approach to revenue goals for the Center’s Broadway and Center Presents series.

I hold a BSc. (Hons.) in Biology from the University of Stirling, U.K., a Graduate Degree in Education from St. Martin’s College, Lancaster University, U.K., and a MA in Arts Administration from the University of Kentucky. I am currently President & Chairman of Cry Havoc Theater Company.
